usually finish my scarf edges with embroidery. Do you want to know what kind

First
I pull up threads from the edges of the scarf as you can see at the top
three pictures.

baste the edges toward the line formed by the pulled threads

Here
in this scarf I used a coloured tread matching one of the colours in the design.

I take a tiny stitch from the rolled hem.
|
Then,
I take few treads (2mm) from the main body of the scarf where I pulled the treads.

It
takes a lot of time and great patience to finish a scarf this way, but I
love it.
